I'll drive them about in one of these. DON'T TOUCH ANYTHING YOU LITTLE DEVILS, NO FEET ON THE SEATS.

The ultimate tool in child discipline... Even if you're a tool for buying one of these Noncedes.

Noncedes? Aside from body panels these are almost identical mechanically to 164 ML's and GL's.

You are a glutton for automotive punishment aren't you. I'm thinking about getting one for the wife at some point. The plus side for me is that it will be super cheap to fix. Not that they're that bad really (ok, well they're one of the less reliable Mercedes in the last 10 years), but some items can be quite expensive. Once some key items are taken care of they should be fine for a long time.

not the R63?
If you're going to do this to yourself, you might as well go all the way.

It should invoke the sense that it's carrying a group of katana-wielding burly men with an angry lieutenant that's out to collect a finger or two.
That minivan invokes the sense of two suburb-living hippies who thought a Camry was a fast car.

Fact. I was expecting some "pacifica copycat minivan" nonsense.

The most interesting cars are unreliable, it is not my fault. You should, a new one is my mom's dream car.

This is very true. I like unreliable cars too. Maybe I'll look further into an R after our 210 wagon dies, which will hopefully be a long time from now.
